YOU MUST SUBMIT YOUR ONLINE BY JUNE 15TH BY MIDNIGHT  
TO COMPETE THIS SEASON IN SPANISH RUSSIAN OR STANDUP

ENGLISH PROGRAM:
If you are a semi-finalist from a prior year or a finalist of Beaverton or Hillsboro Teen Idol,
message the producer if you are interested in competing in Season 10 - Must contact him no
later than May 11th.

ABOUT COMPETING:

Singers: Prepare 60 - 90 seconds of a song to sing acapella (no sound track).   
Stand up contestants need to come up with a 4 - 5 minute routine.

Bring school ID, state issued ID or Birth Certificate to an audition location or bring it with you
to Round 1 if you are notified that you made it through.

We will notify all applicants via email if you made it or not to the qualifying round.

COMPETITION ROUNDS:
Round 1 Quarter-Finals - 5/6 thru 5/8 See Round 1 Email
Round 2 Semi-Finals (determines who goes on tour)       5/22 at Milwaukie High School
Round 3 Finals (determines top 5 including winner)        
  6/25 at Lake Oswego High School

Tour includes all languages and standup throughout Oregon and SW Washington performing at various parks,
venues and events.  The Portland Parks & Recreation's "Movies in the Park"  and the Oregon State Fair are
some of our common performance locations.

May include outings such as hiking, going to the beach, concerts, movie nights and other fun team buildling
activities.

3: Record the first few seconds of your audition with a slate:
"MY NAME IS [FULL NAME] AND I'M TRYING OUT FOR SEASON 10
OF TEEN  IDOL AND I WILL BE SINGING [SAY SONG TITLE] BY [SAY ARTIST]"

Then record your 60 to 90 second audition video singing acapella - no music or instruments and DON'T
PAUSE YOUR RECORDING - we need non-edited performance.

4: Name / Rename the video like this: Jane Doe S10 Teen Idol Audition Video 4-15-2016
5: Upload the video online anywhere you wish (ex YouTube or other public video posting site).
6: Email us the URL to your watch your video and email it to us -
Subject of the email:
[Your Name]S10 Teen Idol Audition Video

Email it to Dennis@TeenIdol.org  and S10-OnlineAudition@TeenIdol.org

If you plan to submit more than one audition - ie Spanish, Russian & Standup, simply record your 60-90
second song or 4-6 min standup set and post online with a new intro stating which contest you are
auditioning for and include the links to all of your online auditions in one email.    Do the English one right
away as it must be received by midnight, May 2nd, 2016.

DO NOT SUBMIT MORE THAN 1 VIDEO PER CONTEST - we will automatically decline your application.
Only the applicant can sing/perform.  No friends, family or substitutes and nobody else in the video.   
No background or accompaniment - just your voice.
