Must be attending private, public or online school in grades 7th thru 12th. If you are home schooled or early graduates - you need to be age 13 as of April 1st and still be 18 on July 1st - Early graduates must be no more than 18 as of July 1st.
19 year olds must be graduating in 2016 and in the 12th grade at a public or private school as of April 1st 2016.
Must be a US citizen or legally able to live and work in the United States and intend on doing so thru July 1st, 2017.
Must live within 35 miles of the city of Portland (97201), be willing to commit to attending all competition rounds and agree to perform at least 4 times during the June - October tour. Those living just beyond the 35 mile boundary may be eligible - email the producer Dennis to ask S10Qualifications@TeenIdol.org.
Must not be a trained finalist of a national talent competition with an unfair advantage over other students - ask to be sure you qualify at S10Qualifications@TeenIdol.org.
No professional artists with albums, extensive public tour experience or distributed comedy routine. Having an album may or may not disqualify you - ask the producer Dennis to be sure S10Qualifications@TeenIdol.org.
If you are "over qualified" consider volunteering to help coach others or perform at special events where non-finalists also perform (Semi-Finals and Finale)
